Founded in 1926 by Al Shondell, Heathwood Oil became the first independent oil company in Kansas City. With two employees, one delivery truck and a commitment to provide “Service at a Fair Price”.
Four generations later, the Shondell family is still continuing the commitment to great service, quality products at a fair price and has grown Heathwood Oil to one of the largest and oldest family-owned oil companies in the Midwest.
